Hundreds joined the Release Carnival organized by SOAS Detainees Support Group on Saturday, 5 June 2010. The event featured speakers from several organizations campaigning for refugee rights and former detainees urging the government to to end child detention, to rule out the separation of families and all other inhumane alternatives.
